The Sponsored Research Office (SRO) supports faculty and professional research staff in their efforts to secure and ensure proper stewardship of external funding.
The office is responsible for the effective and timely handling of research proposals, specifically for preparing, interpreting, submission, and accepting agreements on behalf of É«ÇéÊÓƵ for projects and programs funded by federal and state agencies, foundations, and other public and private sources.
É«ÇéÊÓƵ is a federally recognized Emerging Research Institution (ERI).
Proposals
You're interested in applying for a sponsored project, now what? SRO is here to support you in preparing proposals for external funding opportunities. From evaluating eligibility for a solicitation to budget development, SRO can assist along the way. Once you have identified a funding opportunity you are interested in, you must submit an Intent to Submit Form (ISF) to SRO no later than ten (10) business days before the proposal is due to the sponsor. All É«ÇéÊÓƵ faculty and staff can find the pre-award resources you will need on the myÉ«ÇéÊÓƵ portal on the page, including the link to the ISF.
